APHSA is a member-driven association comprised mainly of state and local public human service agencies who work with us through their executive leadership and program administrators. Our members include state and territorial human services agencies, local agencies, and several thousand individuals who work in or otherwise have an interest in human service programs. With and through our members, we’re able to pursue excellence in health and human services.
APHSA has three primary membership categories:
Agency Members are individuals responsible for administering health and human services through a state or local member agency. State agency memberships consist of CEOs and up to 15 designees who are senior leaders within the agency. APHSA’s National Council of State Human Service Administrators is an important forum for state-level administrators to have a say in the federal rules and policies that affect their work, their budgets and their constituents. Local agency memberships consist of CEOs and up to ten designees who are senior leaders within the local agency. APHSA partners with the National Council of Local Human Service Administrators to further promote the professional interests, competence, stature and leadership of the local public human service administrators in the United States. Individual Members are any persons with an interest in health and human services. Individual members stay up-to-date with events happening in the nation’s capital as well as in the field through the benefits of their membership. Click here to apply.
Associate Members are organizations connected to the field of health and human services.
